Theatre company, imitating the dog, is set to push their inventive storytelling to new heights with their bold contemporary retelling of H.G Wells’s iconic science fiction tale The War of the Worlds. It opens tonight (Wednesday 25th February) at Lowry, Salford where it runs until 28th February. Using miniature environments, model worlds, camera tricks, and projection, imitating the dog mix the live and the recorded, the animate and the inanimate to create a timely retelling of the classic novel. Amy Dunn, who stars in the production, gives us an insight into what to expect.
