In this video i will go over how to paint a textured grill smooth gloss black on my Volkswagen transporter. I dont have experience painting but i'm pretty happy with the result. My T5 campervan project continues slowly. Inside is coming together now but not complete. I have decided to have a go at painting my transporter T6.1 grille gloss black. The original Grille is textured so I will have to smooth out the texture, then build up with primer, base coat and lacquer. This video should help if you want to paint textured plastics or textured bumpers. Ive used all spray cans by hycote. Adhesion promoter. Plastic primer. Filler primer. Gloss Black base coat. Clear lacquer.
