Merch: https://teespring.com/stores/yourmatetom In January, 2019, Your Mate Tom went to Uruguay: a cannabis pioneer that was the first country in the modern world to legalize recreational marijuana. I met up with my mate, Felipe, a local Uruguayan who gave me an insiders look of Uruguay's Cannabis culture and how the system works. This is a short documentary that takes an honest look at weed legalization including Cannabis strains, pharmacy weed, cannabis club, growing plants, the illegal drug market and more. I was only in Uruguay for a short time (9 days), and I've learned a lot about filmmaking since then, so forgive the below average quality of the cinematography (at least compared to my latest films). I will definitely be making a part 2 when possible of course, and we will make a much more epic film. Every video is a stepping stone to something better.
