Stephon Marbury sits down with CGTN's Jennifer Hsiung to discuss his upcoming and very first feature film, "My Other Home" -- a China-U.S. co-produced movie based on his life. The former NBA player took home the Best New Actor Award at this year's Shanghai International Film Festival, where the film premiered. It will be released in China on August 11th, 2017. In this interview, Marbury discusses the challenges of acting, what it's like to play himself, and life after basketball. Known to his fans as 马布里，Stephon Marbury is arguably one of the most-loved foreign athletes in China. When he left the NBA in 2009 and came to Beijing a year later restart his career with the Chinese Basketball Association, his future was uncertain. But what happened over the next seven years is a fairytale he would have never imagined. In 2012, he led the Beijing Ducks to their very first championship in 29 years, and repeated the feat in 2014 and 2015. He now has a statue, a museum, his face on a stamp,, and was most recently granted a Chinese green card.
