Journey with Insee Cement SAN Locomotive from Factory to Aruwakkalu

INSEE Cement - Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (Former Holcim Lanka Cement) has a cement manufacturing plant near Palavi. This was a government operated cement factory, and privatised later. Clinker, is one of raw material for manufacturing cement. There is a company operating quarry near Aruwakkalu (Aruwak Aru) and transporting clinker from there to factory is using company operating trains. They have their owned Locomotives and carriages. Regular passenger have no access to these trains without proper permission. Beyond Noor Nagar Station, there is no Passenger trains. Only the clinker transporting trains running beyond Noor Nagar. There are two stations build called Karadipooval and Periyanagavillu. Karadipooval is in operation for Token exchange for these trains. Periyanagawillu is out of service.
