YOO what is up everyone! in thisMasters 1 Feather Purple Belt 2022 International Masters [Semifinals] - Competition Video Breakdown where I talk about my semifinals match in the Masters 1 Feather division at the 2022 International Masters Competition held at the Walter Pyramid. This is Competition Match breakdown. Masters 1 Feather Purple Belt 2022 International Masters [Semifinals] - Competition Video In this second match I was up against an opponent I've never faced before and who was a left handed and left sided passer. My opponent opted to keep the match on the feet longer than anyone else I have competed against. This was the second time I've competed at Feather Weight and I was mainly doing it to see how my body adjusted to the weight difference and if it was a viable option to compete at this weight going forward in my BJJ Journey. I think that this Jiu-Jitsu World League Fullerton Open showcased that I will be successful in the Feather Weight Division. I've been a Purple Belt since 2019 and also moved out to California to train. I will be brining Rolling/Sparring Video Breakdowns to the channel on a regular basis so stay tuned for more! What could go wrong? lol In this Masters 1 Feather Purple Belt 2022 International Masters [Semifinals] - Competition Video I try and succeed in playing a very aggressive and dynamic closed guard game. I lost focus on position over sweep which cost me the chance to sweep from the closed guard. My opponent did not make it easy for me but my ability to constantly attack from the closed guard shut down his offense came through and allowed me to win the second match. I was also able to implement sweep set ups from the closed guard.
