CHAPTER 15: What Is The Marriage Supper of the Lamb? Taken from my book entitled, Bible Prophecy Becoming Reality. This chapter is based on a parable that Jesus told and a examples of the traditional marriage supper or reception back in the day when Jesus was on the Earth. You will have to really pay attention to get the full understanding of what He, Christ was saying. Note: These chapters are not in the order that the events may happen. But it’s close. Only God knows the exact order. Some preachers have taught different orders of events. Some of them maybe correct. Introduction Where will the Church or the believers be during the 70th week of Daniel 9. The last seven years prior to the Second Coming of Christ is when the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will take place. This has been called the Tribulation period. Several things presented in the Book of Revelation indicate that the Church will be in Heaven with Christ during that time period. One of those events is the marriage supper of the Lamb. The Lamb in these scriptures is Jesus Christ. The Apostle John heard a lot of shouting, praise and worship in Heaven. Remember this is a parable that Jesus Christ explains. When does the Marriage Supper of the Lamb begin? In harmony with this custom, the marriage supper of the Lamb must begin very shortly after Jesus Christ takes His bride, the Church, to His, Father’s Yahweh house in Heaven. Jesus said: John 14:2 KJV 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you How long will the Marriage Supper Last? Who will be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb? This incredible end time event will include the groom who is the Lamb or Jesus Christ and the bride who is the church. If you are not saved or if you have not given your life to Christ, you will NOT be there. Every person who is a member of the body of Christ will be there as the bride. Only the believers are cordially invited to the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb”. What is the wedding feast of the Lamb? The wedding feast of the Lamb is part of the marriage supper of the Lamb. So, we will be joined with Jesus Christ, we will become like one similar to a husband and wife when they’re married based off the parable Jesus told His disciples. Here is an example of a union between husband and wife. A husband and wife do not do everything or go everywhere together, but they are still married. For example, the wife may go to have her finger nails painted, but the husband didn’t go with her. They are still one because they are married. The husband may go to a barber shop to have his hair cut, the wife does not go with him, but they are still married. The wife could have a job on one side of town and the husband could have a job on another side of town. They do not go to work together but they are still one because of the covenant or marriage agreement they have. They are still united as one. Is this correct? A marriage supper is like a marriage reception in our generation. A husband and wife should share everything together such as their children’s direction, food, money, home, Bible study and etc.. They are married therefore they are as one body. Does this make sense? The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is a glorious celebration for all who are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ! Amen!!
