EMU’S, DOLPHINS, AND THE VAN BROKE DOWN | Western Australia

Hello, in episode 5 of the Western Australia road trip we arrived in shark bay, Denham. We stayed here 3 nights, the first day we drove to monkey Mia to see the wild bottlenose dolphins come to the shore to say hi. This was incredible, never seen them so close and there were so many! They do talks at the RAC campsite in Monkey Mia which are amazing and it costs about $10 which goes to help the wildlife. After this we realised our van had broken down! Ewan (my boyfriend) had left the lights on. It wouldn’t start and it was pouring with rain, luckily we were in a busy area and someone gave us a jump lead to help start Vinny back up to get back on the road. On the way home we saw a family of emus, emus and kangaroos are the two animals that represent Australia moving forward (as they can’t walk backwards). The weather was awful so we sat and read out books in the van, then headed out for dinner. The second day we visited the aquarium next to Denham, it was an eco-friendly one and we saw the infamous stone fish (don’t want to see these out in the wild), venomous sea snakes and tiger sharks! I’d recommend anyone to do this, but avoid weekends as so many children! Our last stop was shell beach, a beach made up entirely of broken shells, the water was beautiful and so was the weather. The end of this video we headed 3.5 hours to Carnarvon for 1 night, made tacos and saw the biggest moth ever. When we woke up we headed to the nasa space museum which was pretty cool, Carnarvon played an important part in the space race and had satellites built here. The next video we head to coral bay and Exmouth where we snorkel the most beautiful reef in the world and swim with whale sharks!!!
