In episode 107, we're tackling two Dark Brotherhood contracts: tracking down and eliminating Faelin, a skooma-addicted elf hiding in the Imperial City, and poisoning a dying warlord at Fort Sutch. Despite completing both missions flawlessly, Ocheeva still won't promote us. She suggests asking other elves for clues, so we head to the Imperial City to investigate. Calindil is the first person we talk to, and conveniently, he's also an elf. After selling a few things, we ask about Faelin and learn that he's staying at the Tiber Septim Hotel. Following the lead, we make it to the hotel and hear more about our target. Apparently, Faelin is a skooma addict who's been struggling lately. Now we just need to find him when he's alone. We run into his girlfriend first, and she spills more tea about his whereabouts. Shortly after, we encounter a guard wearing some pretty nice armor, but he instantly tries to arrest us. Yeah, that's not happening. Backup arrives quickly, and somehow Faelin gets killed in the chaos. We lose our life and have to reload. In the next attempt, we get a few slashes in on the guard before reloading again. Our next destination is Faelin's skooma spot—Lorkmir's House. When we arrive, it's pretty empty, and we don't immediately see him. But as we head downstairs, we run into the elf of the hour, and this dude is bugging out something serious. We quickly take his life and manage to give Jeremy a good slash in the process. Mission accomplished. We head back to Cheydinhal to see the Dark Brotherhood about our reward. Ocheeva hooks us up with gold and gives us our next quest: eliminate a warlord by way of poison at Bleak Mine. Time to get sneaky. We make a short stop at a farm to pick up some crops before diving headfirst into a nearby Oblivion Gate with Jeremy by our side. It's one of the more annoying gates, but we manage to get through without much fuss—especially from Jeremy's corpse that the gate spits out. Shortly after, we make it to Fort Sutch and begin our stealth approach. We use invisibility liberally and swap out the warlord's medicine for poison. Staying mostly undetected, we head back to see Ocheeva. When we arrive, somehow we STILL don't get a promotion. Tough times. But we do pick up another quest where we have to be sneaky and eliminate targets one by one. We'll probably knock that out later. First, though, we stumble around the Sanctuary trying to figure out how to get promoted, but we have no luck. We give up for now and end the episode.
