2025 Nissan Z Nismo vs G87 BMW M2 | The Best Twin Turbo $70k Sports Car?

👋 If you are looking to spend $70,000 on a twin turbocharged sports car, are you buying a G87 BMW M2 or the 2025 Nissan Z Nismo? Today I have both of these fun sports cars to check out and see what is the best sports car at $70,000. I am a big fan of both the M2 and the Nismo Z. The 2025 Z Nismo packs a 3.0L V6 with 420 HP and 384 TQ. It's only paired to the 9 speed auto and it's a 2 seat car. The Nismo is pretty rough around the edges and is more of a purpose designed track focused car. I love the Recaro seats and just how raw it is to drive. It lacks on creature comforts and refinements and is on the small size for space. The G87 BMW M2 packs a 3.0L inline 6 cylinder with horsepower ranging from 453-473 and torque ranging from 406-443. Depending if you get the latest 2025 model year or older and if you go ZF 8 speed automatic or 6 speed manual. The M2 packs a ton of power and really good handling overall. It's not nearly as sharp in the turns tho and doesn't have the same steering response the Nismo Z has. But it has very nice interior materials and tons of features and options available. M2 also has twice the trunk space and back seats roomy enough for car seats or adults! So the M2 G87 is by far a better value. You get a lot of car for the money. Nissan Z Nismo sacrifices a lot, but makes up for that with having a track focused experience all the time.
