With this ride, we have completed the penultimate round-trip of the Washington Metro during the Rockaway Shutdown on the (A) Line. Funny enough, when I first uploaded it before it went public, I realized that I forgot to update the graphic from the title as it said from Mount Vernon Sq to Huntington, but because I had the autosave from my edit and the raw clip hasn’t been deleted from iCloud.com yet, I was able to fix it and re export it and now what a relief. It’s a great thing that I can now schedule when videos are released to the public since it allows me a chance to proofread everything. After the next roundtrip, all runs will be complete and I am back with the NYC Subway. Now I have seen some comments from you guys about when am I gonna do the 🟡Yellow Line🟡 to Greenbelt and the ⚪️Silver Line⚪️ to New Carrollton. I want to make it clear to everybody that it will come, but it’ll happen in January 2026 when I go to MagFest for the second consecutive year. Because Mr. ToadTheGamer and I had so much fun at the event this year, we decided to go back next year and there is a good chance we might see some of our online friends at the event as well. Now when I do come back for MagFest at the Gaylord Hotel, I’m very likely only gonna have time to do only one roundtrip apiece with the new patterns that will have been put into place by then. And if I’m a betting man, I am fairly certain that those runs will very likely take place on the 7000 series cars but time will tell. It could be on a different model, that remains to be seen also. However, due to trackyourtransit.com, I will be able to have a good idea on what will likely be the outcome. There will be one roundtrip on the 🟡Yellow Line🟡 between Greenbelt and Huntington and one roundtrip on the ⚪️Silver Line⚪️ between New Carrollton and Ashburn in January 2026. And since ATO is in effect now in the Washington Metro, if there is another shut down in the NYC Subway, I will likely be doing all combos again in 2026 but we don’t know the story yet about any shutdowns. But for now, I hope you guys enjoy the conclusion of this penultimate round trip during the shutdown era.
