This is a music video featuring assorted pictures and video related to the Class of 1974 Danbury High School (Danbury, CT). This was created by class member Craig Durgy as a tribute to our high school memories and some of the moments that have reunited us over the 50 years since graduation. Thanks go out to numerous class members that contributed material to this video. Two songs are featured on this video; "Orange and Blue” written by Craig Durgy and performed via Suno.com (AI) & “Color My World” written by James Pankow and performed by Chicago. “Orange and Blue” by Craig Durgy When time was new, my time with you, Was clear and bright and strong But time went on, so far beyond As love deceives a heart that’s young Fifty years in rear view mirrors, Since we walked out those doors Closer than it may appear Class of Seventy-Four Hair was long, the dresses short, Like Cliff Notes for a book report Days so Precious and so Few With eyes wide open, orange and blue Wide bell bottoms, wider belts, Drive-In movies with a date Catching bands down at the Elks A football team that won the state The jocks & rahs hung on the bridge, We mortals roamed the halls So full of life on Clapboard Ridge Still glows within those walls And I remember way back then, The smiles and trials they live again When it was me, and it was you Together we’re forever orange and blue Sometimes we, would cut some classes, Grab a burger on a Lark Head downtown or Hammanasset Or hang out down at Roger’s Park And by the time it caught my eye, The years became more clear We’d hardly time to say goodbye To those four wonder years Some are gone as time scatters But we’re still mad as Hatters And it’s always me and you Together we’re forever orange and blue Honor students, lettermen D-H-S was home back then Now where we’ve been has much to do With those hallways we went through And I remember way back then, The smiles and trials they live again When it was me, and it was you Together we’re forever orange and blue Yes, forever we’re together, orange and blue Danbury, will always be The childhood town we knew And high school gave us eyes to see Beyond that orange and blue The friends that were like family Forever orange and blue We always will be family Forever orange and blue
