Haywood HS head coach Jeff “Dusty” Rhodes’ ejection from a 2019 Tennessee state playoff game, in which Rhodes allegedly made physical contact with an umpire through kicking dirt, pursuing the official, and other demonstrative acts that caused a 2+ minute delay, ultimately resulted in the Tennessee Secondary School Athletics Association (TSSAA)’s decision to ban Haywood Baseball from the postseason for two years after the school itself failed to impose supplemental discipline on Rhodes other than the minimum required by TSSAA bylaw. https://www.closecallsports.com/2019/...
