Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has sharply criticised a European proposal to deploy a multinational force in Ukraine, calling it a “brazen” threat to Russia’s security. Speaking during a visit to Egypt, Lavrov said the plan would militarise Ukrainian territory and turn it into a launchpad against Russia. European leaders argue the force could help police any future peace deal, support Ukrainian troops, secure airspace, and protect maritime routes. Moscow has repeatedly warned that any Western troops in Ukraine would be treated as legitimate targets. Kyiv, meanwhile, insists strong Western security guarantees are essential to prevent future Russian aggression. #Lavrov #UkraineWar #RussiaEurope #PeaceForce #UkraineSecurity #NATO #EuropeanUnion #Geopolitics #RussiaUkraine Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
