Ambe Halad , Fresh Turmeric & Amla - all of these have good medicinal value especiallly for winters. So do try my version of this pickle. Ingredients - 4-5 big Amla 250g Ambe halad & Halad (Fresh turmeric) together 1 tsp ginger 1/4 kg mustard dal 1/4th cup salt 3/4th to 1 cup Lemon juice 3/4th cup Oil as per requirement Procedure - 1. Wash mentioned quantity of amla, Fresh turmeric & Ambe halad. Peel them & Clean & wipe them dry. 2. Chop them as shown in the video. 3. Now grind the mustard dal in a mixer. 4. Add chopped fresh turmeric, amla & ambe halad in a mixing bowl, add grinded mustard dal & mix well. Now add mentioned quantity of salt & lemon juice & mix well. 5. Now fill this mixture in a glass jar, for that first add some at the bottom of the jar and fill the jar with this mixture. 6. Heat mentioned quantity of oil smoking hot in a small kadhai. Check whether it is heated properly by adding few mustard seeds, once they splutter turn off the flame. 7. Now after the oil cools down completely or on the next day add this oil in the pickle jar. Level of oil in the jar should be above the pickle as shown in the video. Close the jar tight with lid. Store in a cool & dry place. Enjoy this pickle in your lunch, dinner or along with snacks as per your choice.
