She received her first cello lessons from her father, Hsin-Kang Huang at the age of three. At the age of five, she played her first performance at Prof. Andreas Pözlberger's class evening as a guest student at the Bruckner University. At the age of six, she decided to become a soloist. At the age of ten, she gave her first cello recital in Ehrbar hall in Vienna. Kanon has already won numerous national and international awards. In 2021, she won the Music award"Golden Note" from the ORF in Vienna as the youngest winner of the competition. In 2022, at the age of eight, she won the 3rd prize at the "Antonio Janigro Cello Competition" in the category for 15-year-old participants in Croatia, as well as the 2nd prize as the youngest winner at the "Dotzauer Cello Competition" in Dresden. In 2023, she won the 1st prize at the "David Geringas Cello Competition" in Lithuania and the 2nd prize at the "David Popper Cello Competition" in Hungary. In 2024 she won the *1st prize and Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Prize at the "Jan Vychytil Cello Competition" in Prague. In 2025 she won the 1st and Special Prize - The best performance of a virtuoso piece at the "Young Musician - Tallinn" in Estonia. She was in the TV show "Stars & Talents" and she was featured as an artist of "Licht ins Dunkel Gala Concert” invited. The Austrian magazine "Weekend" rated her at Top 100 Austrians 2021 in category: Rookies selected with 1st place. She was as solist in "Musicfestival Encuentro 2024" in Austria. She played as a soloist with the Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen Orchestra in Rutesheim. She received the scholarships from many important masterclasses e.g.: Music Academy in Liechtenstein, Langenthal International String Academy, Saline Royale Academy, Allegro Vivo, Gutenstein masterclasses, Erben Music Festival, etc. Kanon took part in masterclasses with Ivan Monighetti, Maria Kliegel, Steven Isserlis, Johannes Moser, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Jens Peter Maintz, Claudio Bohórquez, Matthias Bartolomey, Gabriel Schwabe, Reinhard Latzko, Tamás Varga, Maria Grün, Ádám Jávorkai und Denis Severin. She plays a cello that was made available to her by the violin maker Stephan Schürch.
