Ciao everybody! Week 68 brought us some absolutely magical adventures here in Sicily! We started off exploring the most incredible ancient abandoned farmhouse - you won't believe the stories these old stone walls could tell! The history and character in this place had us completely mesmerized. Then it was time for pear picking season, but forget the ladders - we went full Sicilian style and hopped on a tractor! Beth and I had such a blast reaching for those perfect golden pears while bouncing around the orchard. There's nothing quite like harvesting fruit the traditional way! Our feathered friends provided the daily entertainment as usual - seriously, these chickens have more personality than most people we know! Their antics never fail to make us smile. And of course, we tackled more projects around our beloved farmhouse. Every week brings new progress and new discoveries as we continue breathing life back into this special place. Sicily continues to surprise and delight us at every turn. From ancient mysteries to simple pleasures like fresh pears and happy chickens, this island life keeps filling our hearts with joy.
