I have never see a consistent answer this question about proofing down high proof alcohols. So I asked the person who I would know the answer my nephew Cole. So I am leaving the simple recipes here in the description for all of you to reference at anytime. Keep in mind the recipes here are used with the standard bottle size of 750ml. I you have a larger size bottle just use a measuring cup with ml on the side and measure out the 750ml needed. I have 4 standard measuring containers use for baking and they all have ml on the side. Recommended water to use is Distilled water. If you have 190 proof alcohol and you need 100 proof add 675ml of H2O 95 proof add 750ml H2O This is a 50/50 mix. 90 proof add 833ml H2O 80 proof add 1031ml H2O 70 proof add 1288ml H2O If you have 151 proof alcohol and you need 100 proof add 383ml of H2O 90 proof add 508ml H2O 80 proof add 665ml H2O 70 proof add 866ml H2O If you have 120 proof alcohol and you need 100 proof add 150ml of H2O 90 proof add 250ml H2O 80 proof add 375ml H2O 70 proof add 536ml H2O
