These are killers. Here's the thing, you can have the best show ever. And you could still tank your results. Why? Because these four mistakes happen before the show and after the show. (1) The first mistake is not spending enough time to set the right goals. This is a huge mistake. Take the time to set proper goals. Think it all the way through. For your business, when you're setting your annual goals, do you just pick a number out of the sky? No. You take the time and you go through a proper process to make sure you set the right goals. (2) Mistake number two is not qualifying leads. That's doing a giveaway or scanning badges, and that's all you're doing. And so you're getting people's information, you're getting, but you don't know if they're qualified. When you follow up, your results could be absolutely awful. Get those people qualified before you start that follow up process. (3) The third killer mistake is not having a solid follow up process put in place Before the show starts. Don't wait till you get back after the show and then figure out how you're gonna follow up with everybody. Do everything you can to have it automated, where you're dropping all the email addresses into a system. And they could start drip campaigns so that when you're actually picking up the phone, you're, you're talking to people who have already heard from you. (4) The fourth mistake is to judge the trade show By the end results, by what happens after the show, after all the follow-up. It's typically sales we need sales. And that's why we went, maybe we went in, we got our qualified leads, and then they went into our, our follow-up process. For whatever reason, the follow ups weren't all that good. At the end of the day, the leadership is gonna say, well, what did that show do for us? Well, we got X dollars from it. Wow. We didn't even break even. Maybe we shouldn't be going. Maybe the show itself was awesome. You had a goal of 50 qualified leads, you came back with a hundred, you doubled your efforts. Don't penalize the show or think we shouldn't do shows or that specific show. That show rocked it. But don't make the mistake of saying That was a bad show because we only ended up with this much sales at the end. The show did its job, but the follow process, there's something wrong there. As long as you did the your due diligence on the front end of making sure we're at the right show and making sure that the right people were gonna be at the right show. Visit https://tradeshowu.biz
