How are working moms surviving in a world that makes them juggle so much? Can they sustain their current workload while being the ultimate professional and ideal parent? Jomana El-Aridi shares her journey as an academic and mother of two, while calling for increased awareness and the need for change. Jomana Elaridi is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Natural Sciences Department at the Lebanese American University. She is passionate about teaching and research which is primarily in the field of organic chemistry and food analysis. She’s also a devoted and proud mother of two beautiful boys. As a working mother, Jomana is familiar with challenges associated with juggling family and career – two very important aspects of her life. She firmly believes in the importance of highlighting some of the physical and emotional struggles faced by working mothers.
