With 3 different strengths of vibrations, you can set it up so you really feel the beat, as long as have it strapped down tight. I find it works best for me on a bigger muscle, and I tighten the strap fairly hard. That way, you can feel the vibration better. It's a very unique product, and well worth checking out. There are situations where you can really make use this thing - like a band situation or performance. Maybe your drummer isn't keeping time well? You could all wear one of these metronomes and sync them up together! The app is also very well done, with lots of cool features, such as colors, sounds, even light pulse with the camera light on the phone! I'm quite impressed and will use it more going forward. I did find it became easier to get used to it after a couple of days. So, if it feels weird for you in the beginning, have patience. You get more out of it over time. I am guitar instructor.
