Some how to do...when taking out the Tillotson HL carburetor from vintage Partner r12 ...90 cc ! First time do for me and not too many instructive clip on youtube..on this particular saw.. I like working with clean saws...and my impression is that they can handle high pressure wash...as the most is sealed behind tight gaskets. but be aware that after...is needed to dry good and recommend high air pressure to get rid of water. Water in cranc case and in fuel tank..f.ecs. try avoid. Do at own risk though...but this is how i do it ! :-) This is my second r12 and the other i assembled after the film and succsessfully got it running...with the old gaskets...but after the carb been ultrasonic cleaned. Much very old gasolin...like sticky old paint and you easy can smell that ! To work with those machines is very inspiring as the mechanic is so solid and looks and feels so...like human made/ designed. Cool design, solid made and durable...is the impression I have. A good feeling of having a good product to restore. Not like those new data chipped things...that soon maybe includes a test of no could...before allow starting and operating it he he.
