Join me this weekend, November 5th and 6th, in Kennard, Texas, for the Old Mill Music Festival. It's all outdoors. They don't even want you in the house. You'll track too much dirt in. There's camper hookups, a nice bath house, and at least two outhouses. It's one of my most favorite jamming festivals. Lloyd Wright and his wife April invite a bunch of string bands, old-time musicians, and dulcimer players, so we all get to mingle and play pretty much around the clock. Lloyd's mom, Margaret Wright, is one of the best dulcimer jammers EVER. She'll be there. You should be there, too. Get crazy, get in the car, and make the trip. It's the one you've been waiting for.
