位於香港新界區的元朗，有不少歷史悠久的村落，大部份以三層村屋為主，與繁華熱鬧的九龍和港島區有很大的差別。低密度的空間，有着不少皇冠郵筒服務這些古老村落。 這次來到元朗的新田村，在上水站坐76K巴士，在新田站下車便能到達。在到達新田郵政局前，先參觀了附近的文天祥公園和東山古廟。文姓族人是元朗原居民中的一大姓氏，相傳他們的祖先就是文天祥，隨着宋朝滅亡， 而遷居香港，定居香港八百多年，所以後人特別集資興建公園紀念文天祥的忠君愛國。東山古廟是香港的三級歷史建築，建於明朝。古廟屬於三進式設計，由花崗岩建成，屋頂則以木骨架建成，並設有天井。香港的村落有很多歷史建築，很值得去參觀遊覽。 Yuen Long, in New Territories, Hong Kong, there are many villages with a long history. Therefore, the descendants specially raised funds to build the park to commemorate Man Tin Cheung’s loyalty and brave . Tung Shan old Temple is a three-level historical building in Hong Kong, built in the Ming Dynasty. This ancient temple is a three-in-one design, built of granite, and the roof is built with a wooden skeleton and has a patio. The villages of Hong Kong have many historic buildings and are worth visiting.
