Cookie tombstones: ❥ 60g room temp unsalted butter ❥ 50g granulated sugar ❥ 10ml vanilla extract ❥ 25g vegetable oil ❥ Black gel food colouring ❥ 140g all purpose flour ❥ 10g corn starch INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat your oven to 350F 1. In a bowl, combine 50g granulated sugar, 60g room temp unsalted butter, and 10ml vanilla extract. Use a non stick spatula or a whisk. (0:15) 2. Add 25g vegetable oil, whisk until combined. (0:21) 3. Add a few drops of black gel food colouring. Mix until combined. (0:28) 4. Sift in 140g all purpose flour and 10g corn starch. Fold until a dough forms. (0:30) 5. Roll out the dough between 2 pieces of parchment paper. Not too thin. Freeze for 15mins. (0:44) 6. Cut out the tombstones then use a dotting tool to add the writing. Work while the dough is still cold. (0:52) 7. Refrigerate for 8 mins then bake at 350f for 12-15mins. Don’t over bake. (1:05) 8. Allow to cool / set fully then fill in the writing with black gel food colouring. (1:09) 9. Set aside. Oreo brownie batter: ❥ 200g dark chocolate chips ❥ 180 unsalted room temp butter ❥ 225g granulated sugar ❥ 50g light brown sugar ❥ 3 eggs room temp ❥ 15ml vanilla extract ❥ 20g vegetable oil ❥ 120g all purpose flour ❥ 30g cocoa powder ❥ 100g roughly crushed Oreos INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat your oven to 350F. 1. In a bowl, microwave 200g of dark chocolate chips with 180g of unsalted butter. 30 second intervals, mixing in between until fully melted. (1:20) 2. Set aside and allow to cool. (1:27) 3. In a separate bowl, whisk 225g granulated sugar, 50g light brown sugar, 15ml vanilla extra, and 3 room temp eggs until doubled in volume / pale. (1:29) 4. Add 20g of vegetable oil, whisk until combined. (1:38) 5. Add the chocolate mixture, fold until combined. (1:42) 6. Sift in 120g of all purpose flour and 30g of unsweetened cocoa powder. Whisk until well combined / lump free. (1:48) 7. Add 100g of roughly crushed Oreos, fold until combined. (1:54) 8. Pour the batter into an 8x8” baking dish that’s greased and lined with parchment paper. Spread it out evenly. (2:02) BROWNIE BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: Bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 30-35 mins. Every oven is different , adjust time if needed. When you first take them out, the brownies will still be slightly gooey in the centre. DO NOT OVERBAKE!!! Over baking results in cakey dry brownies. OPTIONAL: as soon as you take them out, add Oreos to the top. Allow to cool at room temperature for 30 mins. The heat from the baking dish will continue to cook the brownies. Refrigerate for 3 hours so they can fully set. Be patient! The results are worth it. Once cooled, cut into 6 pieces. Wipe your knife after each cut. For the leaves: ❥ Red, yellow, orange fondant ❥ Leaf mold ( link: ❥ Cocoa powder For the pumpkins: ❥ Orange fondant ❥ Green fondant For the dirt: ❥ Finely crushed Oreos ❥ Melted chocolates For the tombstones: ❥ Tombstone cookies ❥ Melted chocolate INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Use a leaf silicone mold and fondant to create the leaves. Allow to dry then brush with cocoa powder. (2:13) 2. Roll a ball of fondant around to create the pumpkin shape, add the green stem. (2:19) 3. Dip the tombstones in melted chocolate then gently press them into the brownies. (2:26) 4. Brush the brownies with melted chocolate and add the finely crushed Oreos on top. (2:31) 5.
