In this episode we travel around the southern region of Nova Scotia from Halls Harbor, Blomidon Provincial Park, Halifax, Peggys Cove, Lunenburg and Ovens Natural Park. Join us on our favorite overland adventure to date: Expedition Nova Scotia. In this trip we traveled thousands of miles through North Eastern US - New Brunswick Canada - Prince Edward Island - Nova Scotia - Maine - Acadia National Park - Bay of Fundy - Tons of ferry crossings. And our pursuit to find the BEST lobster roll along our path! We couldn’t see it all but we sure hit some destination highlights! This trip had some of the most beautiful camping spots and geography for overlanding, and we had an incredible time! This video is part of the Nova Scotia series published over the summer of 2019. We also found out what overland gear we did and did not need on this trip. The overland trailer XVenture XV-3 was the perfect companion for this type of travel. We could keep all of our camping gear in the trailer while keeping the Jeep JK clear for personal items. Having a light basecamp makes all the difference.
