It all starts with Michael, a quirky government employee who runs the Recreations department of his local town. His disgruntled boss, and libertarian adversary, Dwight, is attempting to dismantle the very government he works for. Several other antics ensue when other characters join the cast, like Stanley, a not-so-bright singer/songwriter with big dreams! There's also a spunky Indian-American who starts several business ventures... named Pam. And finally, there's the old fart, that everybody hates and makes fun of... Toby.
