Police blocked the entrance to the hospital as tensions run high following a ruling from European judges that refused to intervene in the case of 23-month-old Alfie Evans, who has a degenerative neurological condition. Supporters of the family are blocking the road outside the hospital - where ambulances access the main entrance. For about five minutes a small group of 20 were blocking the road before they got pulled back by other protesters.
