Assassin’s Creed Shadows – Temple of the Horseman, Part 2 Next: • Assassin's Creed Shadows - Temple of the H... Intro to Animus Ego: • Assassin's Creed Shadows - Intro to Animus... From the top of the grain storehouse, I studied the guards below with growing unease. This… was unlike any infiltration I had faced before. These were not lazy patrolmen or corrupt foot soldiers grown soft on stolen sake and privilege. These were Nobunaga’s finest. Their discipline radiated from every step. Their eyes moved with intention, never lingering too long nor drifting too far. Their patrols flowed in perfect rhythm— a dance of precision rarely seen outside the battlefield. They were loyal. Sharp. Unforgiving. This place was a fortress not just in stone but in the men who defended it. A single misstep would doom me. I could sense it in the weight of their training, in the subtle strength behind each movement. So I stayed still. I breathed with the darkness. I watched, and watched, and watched— waiting for the flaw in the pattern, the momentary lapse, the imperfect heartbeat in an otherwise perfect body. When it came, it was small— a guard turning his head half a second longer than usual, another slowing to adjust his armor. Tiny cracks, but cracks nonetheless. I slipped through them like water. Never lingering, never challenging their gaze. I clung to shadows so tightly that even I could barely feel my own presence. I did not want to kill these men. They were not corrupt. They were not cruel. They were simply devoted. But devotion would not hesitate to strike me down. The first guard I took fell silently into an old well. The second I lowered into a mound of hay, his body settling as though he had simply decided to rest. Already I felt the danger rising. These guards knew each other’s footsteps, each other’s voices, each other’s absence. Their routines overlapped with the care of a master weaver, and soon—even a single silence would be noticed. I had started the chain. Now I had to finish it quickly. I moved faster. Still silent, still invisible, but with greater urgency. I snatched a few trinkets and supplies from windowsills and storage boxes while I waited for openings—small treasures, nothing that would slow me or draw attention. But I did not come here for riches. Not for weapons. Not even for glory. I came here for Nobunaga. His shadow loomed over every stone, every lantern, every breath of this place. If I survived the night, perhaps one day I could return and explore the secrets hidden beneath these roofs. But for now, there is only the hunt. Only the heart of the beast. Only the man who must die. #AssassinsCreed #Shadows #TempleOfTheHorseman #Honnoji #Naoe #SilentInfiltration #EliteGuards #PathOfVengeance #Nobunaga #Onryo #masumi #TongayiChirisa #JuneFukumura #HiroKanagawa #YoshiroKono #PaulinoNunes #KevanOhtsji #ErikaPrevost #EmilyShelton #NobuyaShimamoto #PeterShinkoda Assassins Creed, Shadows, Temple Of The Horseman, Honnoji, Naoe, Silent Infiltration, Elite Guards, Path Of Vengeance, Nobunaga, Onryo, Masumi, Tongayi Chirisa, June Fukumura, Hiro Kanagawa, Yoshiro Kono, Paulino Nunes, Kevan Ohtsji, Erika Prevost, Emily Shelton, Nobuya Shimamoto, Peter Shinkoda
