Here's Our Micro Campervan "Sleepy" Build from start to finish. We love Camping and we wanted something that we could explore in while keeping it compact as much as possible. We like the road trips, seeing the coast and this suits us great and don't take up any more space to park than a Car, and as a bonus the Furballs love it... also we bought the Awning from Amazon and it does the job fine, even though we don't always use it. If you have one of these vans or your looking for tips on converting something into a camper then checkout my Van Playlist, plenty of videos in there to help, here's the link to the Playlist, I always add my how to vids to a playlist and keep them Updated, handy to keep and hopefully it will help you out if your looking for any of these.    • Van   We have the Van setup quite well and that home made boot jump is really good, not only is it a seating area, table and a double bed but versatile especially when it rains and at night if we need the toilet we just lift off the centre piece cushion and table top, we keep our toilet at the centre rear of the van facing forward underneath it if we're not using the awning. Its not hard to make and you could put one together in no time or ask someone whose pretty good with DIY as their not cheap, ours is made up of 44mmx32mm legsx10, 12mm ply board, a few Piano hinges & brackets, some thick sponge and material or have the covers made to order, we also recommend using material to cover the top of the boot jump to stop the cushions from sliding about. The top of the Boot Jump Measures 6ft x 4 ft, plan out your build by putting all the stuff on the floor 1st then measure up from that keeping all underneath the bed and seating area as storage. The plyboard on the floor is also 12mm thick and 6mm on the sides. We detailed the build on the video as it goes so there's a lots of info there, most of the stuff we bought from Amazon, eBay and the carpets from Combe Valley Campers (Link Below). I highly recommend the 4way stretch carpet, its much easier to install and it stretches really good. They do a bundle for all your needs including the high temperature spray adhesive, sound deadening, insulation etc and they show you how to videos on their YouTube Chanel. There's so much Camping equipment about now you can get all you need online just by searching. One thing!! if you decide to use Ethanol please be really careful with it, its good when its sealed and in proper use like Ethanol stoves and fires, its instant heat and don't need hardly anything to get it going apart from a small flame but we recommend not using it inside as its like petrol, if u tip it and there's a naked flame near by its highly flammable and not so easy to extinguish. https://www.youtube.com/redirect?even...
