Most people bypass Colby Canyon on the way to Strawberry Peak, but today I dropped into the canyon in search of hidden waterfalls and swimming holes. It's definitely an adventure hike with bushwhacking and down climbing required. The payoff is a pristine section of granite bowl pools that are the perfect spot to cool off during your adventure into the often overlooked Colby Canyon of Angeles National Forest.
