The information I recieved was from the CBS rep who served my record store. It was right when the story broke and I asked him straight up, is this why you sent me all this Lap of Luxury stuff because I never hear it on the radio. I lived on Long Island where most were into either WLIR-alternative or KISS for R&B. Z-100 had a distictly young audience as well. Where would Cheapo Trick fit into their fomatting? I dunno. I heard it straight from the rep that it was one of many being 'supported' on Columbia or Epic. No disrecpect to Cheap Trick, they were always pretty good but at that time they just one of many over-the-hill rock stars coming back in the 80's for one last cash in. Steve Winwood, Tina Turner, etc. etc.
