Today we continue making a coat without patterns. I'd told you that I was going to make a coat without a pattern, but then I've used one. Those who have a basic pattern, can use the pattern of a back. Take it and make a coat easily. Those who don't have a basic pattern, can watch one of the videos where I tell how to sew without patterns. Watch the technique and copy it. You can use this pattern to make any coat you want. Take any fabric and make a coat. I hope you rememeber how I've made the front and the back. The centerback matches the centerfront. I'll tack the side seams and then I'll make the sleeves and a collar. Some people may say that it's not right to make the items this way, but I don't care. I often use this technique, and the items look and fit amazing. This coat was made absolutely the same way as the one I've showed you in the previous video. It's wide in the arm-hole, because there are no tucks in it. When I tack the sleeves in, you'll see everything. I'll show you how to make a collar very thoroughly. The technique is pretty complictaed, so I recommned you to watch this video several times. You can make a collar as wide as you want. I’ll show you one of the ways to make a collar.
