Check out these don’ts that will definitely cost you the job. Show up late. Time is money and employers don’t have any to waste. The last thing you want to do is keep them waiting when you’re trying to make an awesome first impression. Fashionably late doesn’t exist in interview time. Be brutally honest. Save your no filter approach to your Instagram pictures. Have a bad attitude. Being a Negative Nancy won’t get you hired. The employer will assume that’s the same way you will treat the customers. Be unprofessional. If you’re not presenting yourself in a professional manner, whether it’s your outfit, email or social media, the employer won’t want you representing their company.
