The Michael Chekhov Way is a life path towards Peace--the artist who lives the four Brothers of Art sees beauty, takes action with ease, fills the form of their minds, feelings, and will impulses, their bodies, with a sense of truth and wholeness, of unity. I was personally inspired at 9 years old when I met Dr. Martin Luther King at breakfast before his "I Have a Dream" speech in Washington DC on Aug. 28, 1963. Holding his hand, he holding mine, It seemed like a direct transmission of his message: Peace through non-violent action. When the Unity Farmer's Branch Newsletter came to me the other day, it included this 64 days of Non-violence, courtesy of Len, I became inspired to explore this theme through the Michael Chekhov Way. As a path to peak performance living, peace, and non-violence begins in the heart of every human being. I hope this journey inspires you to raise the bar of your inner world and express in outer action and interaction with every thought and breath, and step you take. Radiating Reverence for all of life will allow the receiving of love within, between and among all of creation. The vertical line of Reverence endows all with a sacred acceptance and the horizontal line supports that transforming into respectful activity.
