Linked many of the Calderdale Valley classic descents up into a loop which works quite well Conditions were generally dry but not bone dry on the trails giving a perfect amount of grip and although the forecast was mixed, the rain held off for the day which I was thankful of. A little overgrown this time of year with pesky nettles in particular which didn't agree with thin gloves and short sleeve top but you can't have everything 😂 Calderdale is quite an urban location and you are never too far away from civilisation whether that is good for you or not and is a complete contrast to riding in a national park Had a look at the front brake since and I was correct in that it has worn down to the metal. I don't like to waste money, MTB is far too expensive as it is 🤣 Pads changed for the next outing and put some epoxy on saddle rails which is a recommended YouTube fix for squeaky rails so we will see how that one goes. As a reminder, don't buy an Ergon Enduro Saddle, I don't mind paying for quality but when they only last 3 months before the rails come loose and start to squeak they are not fit for purpose at £150. Sent the last 2 back and now resorted in trying to repair it myself due to the hassle of return and wait for replacement
