The "skillism" is a form of discrimination which assumes that all people have a skilled body. By inviting us to eliminate labels and to be more open to the theme of diversity, Valentina Tomirotti makes us reflect on how our words and our daily actions can limit and negatively impact the lives of other people. Valentina Tomirotti, conosciuta anche come la “Pepitosa”, è giornalista pubblicista e si occupa di comunicazione in ambiti lavorativi differenti, come istituzioni pubbliche, associazioni, cooperative e aziende. È autrice di “Un altro (d)anno” e della 1a “Guida turistica accessibile di Mantova e provincia”, ma è anche blogger e attivista sul tema dell’accessibilità e non solo. Valentina Tomirotti, also known as "Pepitosa", is a freelance journalist and has been working in the field of in several environments such as public institutions, associations, cooperatives and companies. She is the author of "Un altro (d)anno" and of the "1st Accessible Tourist Guide for Mantova and its province", as well as being a blogger and activist on the subject of accessibility and more.
