Soft, chewy, and coated with dark chocolate — it’s the kind of treat that makes every bite feel like Christmas in Napoli. Ingredients: For the meringue: • 2 egg whites • ½ lemon (juice only) • 50g sugar For the nougat: • 300g roasted nuts (almonds, pistachios, or hazelnuts) • 100g sugar • 150g honey How to make it: In a bowl, whip sugar, egg whites, and lemon juice until very firm — like a meringue. In a small pan, melt honey and sugar over low heat, stirring until smooth. Gently incorporate the meringue into the warm honey mixture, keeping the heat low. Once combined, add roasted nuts and mix for about 10 minutes off the heat. Transfer to a container, press flat, and let it cool completely (you can refrigerate it). Melt dark chocolate and pour a thin layer on top. Chill, slice, and enjoy!
