Welcome to My Endometriosis Adenomyosis journey. Join me each week as I bring you my personal stories to help raise Adenomyosis Awareness and Endometriosis Awareness. This week’s episode I share my experiences with chronic pain while traveling – more specifically, traveling by airplane. In this video I discuss where I went wrong with planning for an international trip – always make sure you have feminine hygiene products and adequate medication! It’s important to note that not having a proper Adenomyosis diagnosis and/or Endometriosis diagnosis can be dangerous as that can mean adequate pain medication may not be available to you and once pain sets in – that’s it! We do whatever we can to “fix it”! Did you know that 1 in 100 women and people assigned female at birth suffer from Adenomyosis? Did you know that 1 in 10 women and people assigned female at birth are diagnosed with Endometriosis? Women’s Health is so important to discuss…and always remember - You are not alone! This is why I have made it my mission to share my Adenomyosis Story & my Endometriosis Story from the patient perspective with hopes that hopefully my experiences can help you or people you know in the journey to diagnosis and to discover some tips or tricks to help along the way. ** I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL ** I am a patient sharing my lived experiences!
