So Much Amazing Iris! Slabbing a 7 Pound MT Agate, Agatized Wood, Montana Moss Agates, & More!

In this one, we cut a heap of fantastic rocks! I have been waiting to cut some of my biggest agates; as a self imposed rule, I refuse to cut my top three biggest Montana agates. Well, we had a shakeup in that lineup last summer where one got booted out of the top three, meaning its fair game to cut now! We selected five Montana agates, four gorgeous chunks of silicified wood, a jasper, a Treasure State agate, and a Spencer obsidian. Our results were fantastic! Not only did the wood slabs come out fantastic, but we got a surprise when four out of our five turned out to be iris agates, three of which being outstandingly high quality!
