Today we venture into the world's largest indoor model railroad. We are joined by our guide, Henry and explore exquisitely detailed landscapes, complete with train trestles, tunnels and tiny inhabited towns. The attention to detail cannot be overstated. Handcrafted scenery is accentuated by scale buildings which are not mere facades but also feature furnished interiors complete with hand painted inhabitants. Walking through the displays is a visual tour of the history of railroading making this place not only a treat for children, but a fascinating experience for adults as well.
