Today we’re getting our 2 acres ready for our forever home build 🤍 Before the builders can start, we had one VERY important job… finding the survey stakes hidden in grass taller than me. If those get hit, it could mess everything up. With the grass so tall, we had to get creative — pool noodles to the rescue! 😅 We marked every stake so the farmer mowing our lot could clearly see them from the tractor. We also battled: 5+ foot tall grass Sweat bees everywhere And a whole lot of August heat But seeing our land cleared and the house outline visible for the first time? Unreal. August 15th. Estimated start date: August 27th. It’s finally feeling real. I cannot believe we can actually SEE where our house is going now 🥹 Have you ever built a home before?
