In this video I take a bushwalk on the Anakie Gorge trail from the Anakie Gorge picnic grounds to the Stony Creek picnic grounds; and to the Stony Creek Reservoir historical wall. The walk is 2 hours return and graded easy. The terrain changes a bit along the walk, and there are a few rock hopping areas across the creek, although dry today. Along this walk I spotted a Black Wallaby and an Echidna. Anakie Gorge is in the Brisbane ranges, 82 km from Melbourne and 35 km from Geelong in Victoria, Australia. The Brisbane Ranges National Park has many walking and hiking tracks, picnic and camping grounds. Bushwalking options range from 3 days to short walks. What is a bushwalk? Australians call walking in the bush and natural areas, bushwalking. It is also known as hiking, trekking, or tramping.
