Banana and chocolate muffins are a crowd-pleasing choice. Ripe bananas and Nutella make these muffins extra special. It's a great addition to any gathering, whether it's a family get-together or a brunch. INGREDIENTS: 2 cups (280 grams) all-purpose flour 2 ripe bananas (220 grams) (or up to 4) 12 teaspoons Nutella ½ cup (60 grams) chopped walnuts 2 medium eggs ½ cup (90 grams) brown sugar ½ cup (100 grams) white sugar 2 ½ tablespoons (30 grams) vegetable oil (corn, sunflower, or canola) 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon salt METHOD: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). In one bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mash the bananas into a smooth puree. Add the eggs, sugars, vanilla extract, and oil to the bananas, whisking until combined. Fold in the dry ingredients and then the nuts. Fill the muffin cups two-thirds full. Add a teaspoon of Nutella to each muffin and swirl gently with a toothpick. Bake for about 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
