They’re Flying Back Home… ✈️ Last Week of 2025 | Sheikh Zayed Mosque & Family Vlog

In this vlog, I’m sharing a few emotional and cozy days of our everyday life as a working from home mom with a 2-year-old boy living in Abu Dhabi 🤍 This week was very special for our family. My parents and my sister are finally flying back to Russia, so we went together to the airport to say goodbye. It’s always hard to part, especially when Saleh got so used to having grandma and grandpa around every day. To spend more time together, we visited the beautiful Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi — one of my favorite peaceful places in the UAE. We also stayed home a lot, cooking comforting homemade food: traditional Russian pelmeni, blini, Tatar ochpochmak, sandwiches with sprats (shprots), and an easy chicken stir fry. With everyone gone, it was just me and Saleh again — lots of playing, slow days at home, and quiet moments. Since it’s the last week of 2025, I also took time to reflect, write my results of the year, and plan goals for the next one. We don’t celebrate New Year’s Eve in a traditional way anymore (already our 3rd year!), so instead of cooking everything on December 31st, I prefer making festive Russian dishes throughout the whole year — it feels calmer and more meaningful for our family.
