This will give you goose pimples when you watch it! Note there is NO sound on this video so don't turn up your speakers expecting to hear anything! The clock is spinning fast because this is a time-lapse recording. Its just a normal clock! Sometimes when I got home from work I would find one of my dining chairs seemed to be in strange position around the table. It did not happen every day but sometimes it would drive you mad trying to think why on earth would I have left the chair to where it was. I'm not sure if I really belive in Poltergeists but after seeing what I captured I'm beginning to believe. After weeks of trying to capture some footage using my Sony HDR--CX115E I decided that it may be better to use time-lapse recording. Because using the Sony camcorder meant having to go through many gigabytes of footage every day only to find that nothing was captured or the movement was over such a long period of time that I could not speed it up enough in Sony Vegas to make it look good enough. That's when I decided that the best way to go was to use time-lapse recording as this can be left running for hours and hours day after day and it does not take up much storage space. I left it running capturing a frame every few seconds for a couple of weeks and nothing until I came across this section of footage. This is just two hours of footage from many hundreds of hours that I have captured over the last few weeks. I must have deleted about 2 Tbytes of unwanted footage to find this! I took my kitchen clock of the wall and placed it in the shot so you can see just how long this movement takes. It was a bit odd when I took the clock off the wall as loads of acid dripped out of the back of it onto the floor, I have never seen a battery leak like that before and yet the clock was still running! The setup I used was a Canon Ixus 430 capturing at 2272x1704 pixels. I used PSRemote to control the camera via my laptop. I had to use Windows XP on an old laptop though as I could not get the software to run on my Windows7 laptop. As you can see at 730pm it takes 45 minutes for it to move about 3 foot across the floor, this is so slow that you cant see it with the naked eye. I put the glass vase on the table to try and capture any light anomalies or reflections in the kitchen as this vase reflects light in all directions but I did not see anything reflected in it. So Am I scarred? thankfully it does not happen very often and it only ever seems to move things in the kitchen near the table. It does not seem to want to cause any harm to anyone So for now the answer is NO. I wish I had set up two cameras as I'm sure there are people out there who will be saying it could be fake.
