Here, Rinpoche presents the Thousand Hands Sutra, revisiting it for many reasons: one being because it’s very popular in Korea and another, because it is one of the most celebrated sutras of theTang Dynasty in of China. In this particular sutra, the Buddha talks about the dharani (mantra) of Avalokiteshvara (Bodhisattva of Great Compassion). Reading and/or saying this dharani out loud, you can accumulate a lot of merit. And Rinpoche teaches on the meaning and character of this dharani, which in essence is its great compassion.
