Episode 26 In this episode it's time to make a start on the portside bulwarks. Making and dry fitting the last of the stanchions, it's now time to machine up the larch i will be using for the bulwak planks. After 5+ years sitting on dry land and many man hours of work, it's time to launch the classic motor yacht, Silver Lass. After an extensive rebuild, she is not ready to head to her temporary mooring for the final stages of fit out and sea trials before she heads to her new home in the mediterranean. I also thought i'd share with you guys some of the other jobs i can be found working on when i'm not repairing boats. Playing with big cranes moving boats!! And finally, something i have been looking forward too since i began the job, finishing the repairs to the counter stern so i can give it a coat of primer! And it looks so much better for it!
