Naish Morph Parawing Review for Hydrofoiling | First Impressions! In this video, I’m sharing my first impressions of the Naish Morph Parawing, and trust me – the results might surprise you! From upwind performance to stability, I’m breaking down all the key features of this innovative wing. Watch to find out how it stacks up against the competition! Important Points Before We Start: As always, this channel's main goal is to raise money for Bear Cottage Children’s Hospice. By liking, subscribing, and sharing, you’re helping raise funds for children with terminal illnesses, so please show your support! https://www.schf.org.au/support-us/do... A big thank you to North, Armstrong, WSS Boards, FoilBoard Company, and Code Foils for supporting the channel. I’m doing this review completely independently, with no affiliation to Naish. These are my honest opinions based on my experience. The Parawing Criteria In the world of parawinging, there are still a lot of variables, and it's evolving. I’ve tested this wing in different conditions and want to share my thoughts on its performance across various disciplines: Upwind/Downwind: Can the Morph hold its own? Find out why it excels in this area! Shuttle DW Runs: Is this a risk worth taking? We explore stability, wind range, and performance in unpredictable conditions. Waves: Towed into waves or used for other wave riding – does the Morph shine in this discipline? I’m still on the fence! Key Features and Tech: Pulley System: This unique feature changes the wing's shape dynamically, giving you better control over your ride. Colour-Coded Lines: A small but significant feature that makes untangling and identifying parts super easy. Shape & Build: The high aspect ratio and the lightweight, simple bar make it an incredibly responsive and stable wing. Upwind & Stability: Exceptional upwind performance with stability that holds even in gusty conditions. I’ve pushed it in winds up to 38kts! Turnability: With the pulley system, the Morph turns with precision and predictability – giving you more confidence during maneuvers. Packaway & Durability: Packaway: Despite the pulley system, I was able to pack it away with no issues. Simplicity in the bar design helps make it an easy and quick process. Build Quality: The Morph is exceptionally well-built. I took it through rough shore dumps, and it came out unscathed! Areas for Improvement: The bar could use a few tweaks. The pulley system placement is a bit too close to the hand, and the abrupt ends can sometimes cause snagging. Plus, adding a safety line connection would be a big plus for both safety and reducing tangles. Conclusion: The Naish Morph Parawing is a fantastic option for hydrofoiling, offering stability, great upwind performance, and the ability to pack away quickly. While there are minor improvements to be made, I highly recommend this wing for anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance parawing.
