As the story unfolds, the monologue fades. We are left watching him — silent, drifting through routines in his apartment, kitchen, and rooftop — disconnected from himself, but holding it all together. Reality begins to press in. The character steps out, and with that step, anxiety hits like a wave. What follows is a rhythm — internal voice, outer silence, moments of vulnerability, then sharp jolts of truth. The film cuts between personal monologue and external observation, reflecting the emotional duality of appearing fine while falling apart. Drawing inspiration from Taxi Driver (1976) and the quiet intimacy of Normal People, Kaanch explores the invisible weight of mental health, isolation, and the way mundane life can camouflage deep emotional collapse.
